Lani Skelley is an artist who ventured from center stage to behind-the-scenes in order to have a hand in every piece of the production puzzle. I crave to be a part of every piece of the production journey from seed to strike. Using the skills I've developed as an actor, combined with my production manager brain and artist heart, I am able to look creatively at every angle of a production process from start to finish and facilitate as needed. Always eager to learn and grow, I aim to receive and give- I thrive in a collaborative environment. I strive to make every project a collaborative, healthy, and enjoyable ecosystem to make the best work possible. I am currently pursuing my MFA in Production and Project Management at The University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem, NC. When not in class or production, I can be found reading, embroidering, spoiling my cats Gus and Aurora, enjoying new restaurants with my partner Stone, or hanging out with friends; most likely with a Lorelai Gilmore size cup of coffee in hand. A proud 5+ year survivor of Stage II Hodgkin's Lymphoma I am a strong advocate for women's health and wellness and the importance of "speaking up" for your needs.
